I've just added new links on the fp for those who had problems with the previous ones, I hope it will work better.

It no longer appears on the broadcom portal.

I don't know if it's available elsewhere.

@Alv37 Just curious, but do they have updated VMWare Tools ISOs for Linux in the portal? Despite the name, the full Windows installer only includes them for other Windows VMs.

I know they have a public repo here (which still has ISOs for Windows) and a git for open-vm-tools here. Which are both fine when you have internet access. But there used to be ISO images that had the Tools for all Linux distributions in them. Which were great for offline installations when you needed to boot some random Linux distro/disk image in a VM.

The latest one I've found publicly seems to be from 2023. So already pretty outdated.

the vmware tools ISOs are included in the installer. the versions are 10.3.23 dated 30/4/2024, and 10.0.12 for older versions of linux.

Not to turn this into a support thread (I know this isn't the place). But I'm not seeing them at all after a clean install, just Windows.iso and Windows-x86.iso. I'm 99.9% they were removed from the full Windows installer at some point.

@SL0TH Here's what you'll find on the portal for the latest version:

The latest linux version available on the portal is 10.3.26

Yup, that's the same one I have, good to know. I made an account myself to double check everything on the free side and that's the same thing I'm seeing there too.

I also double checked the full Windows installer (7zip can unpack it) and confirmed they're no longer included in the ToolsIsos.cab archive.

Long story short, it looks like they're no longer maintaining the AIO packages for Linux Tools unless you're running ESXi. Which sucks.
