Popular Post Alv37
Official installer (from my broadcom account). This time, I've separated the Windows and Linux versions to have a smaller archive and avoid having to download both versions, so that everyone can choose the version they need. PS: If you need the macOS version, let me know, so I can add it next time. #Windows Site: https://krakenfiles.com Sharecode [?]: /view/lL3QbWgDJi/file.html Site: https://workupload.com Sharecode [?]: /file/mAvFrADfXQr Site: https://uploadrar.com Sharecode [?]: /3ggcc7m04ugl #Linux Site: https://workupload.com Sharecode [?]: /file/7rgMUBSqV6h Site: https://uploadrar.com Sharecode [?]: /y8t04ezglrwc For those who want to check, here are the hashes from the broadcom site: #Windows Filename: VMware-workstation-full-17.6.4-24832109.exe MD5: b387e0a655798ba356d9a7331d98851a SHA256: 10fe3a36f525d88aa133118ab3b5a16b18da88d4aa11b14d74e4164b3fb94ba9 #Linux Filename: VMware-Workstation-Full-17.6.4-24832109.x86_64.bundle MD5: 8683cf24267109c49d1b8c7188ecda20 SHA256: 64fbfbaeacc48865468114362a2bbaade9110cc9e87bc3bd938396ba7f19a9bd Edited July 17, 2025 by Alv37 TheChimaker, IvanHor, elena1024 and 23 others 14

SL0TH
@Alv37 Just curious, but do they have updated VMWare Tools ISOs for Linux in the portal? Despite the name, the full Windows installer only includes them for other Windows VMs. I know they have a public repo here (which still has ISOs for Windows) and a git for open-vm-tools here. Which are both fine when you have internet access. But there used to be ISO images that had the Tools for all Linux distributions in them. Which were great for offline installations when you needed to boot some random Linux distro/disk image in a VM. The latest one I've found publicly seems to be from 2023. So already pretty outdated. jvidal
the vmware tools ISOs are included in the installer. the versions are 10.3.23 dated 30/4/2024, and 10.0.12 for older versions of linux.
SL0TH
Not to turn this into a support thread (I know this isn't the place). But I'm not seeing them at all after a clean install, just Windows.iso and Windows-x86.iso. I'm 99.9% they were removed from the full Windows installer at some point. I made an account myself to double check everything on the free side and that's the same thing I'm seeing there too. I also double checked the full Windows installer (7zip can unpack it) and confirmed they're no longer included in the ToolsIsos.cab archive. Long story short, it looks like they're no longer maintaining the AIO packages for Linux Tools unless you're running ESXi. Which sucks.
