Looking to dive deeper into torrent communities

Hi all,

As the title says, I'd like to find the right path to discovering better sources for torrenting (TV Shows/4k Movies to be specific). Since cutting cable and basically canceling all streaming services, we are left with my Jellyfin server. Back in the day, TPB was the top gun for finding almost anything, but I'm having a hard time finding much other than popular and recent shows and movies.

 

I've recently come across Usenet, and also have known about private torrent trackers for some time now, (which seem very hard to get into unless you know someone or get lucky with an open invite) I'd love to be a part of one of these as I have the bandwidth to seed, and i'd also like to learn to perform webrips/webdls, but after months of searching, seems like there is a very niche crowd that does this and not much information is out there, and I can totally understand why.

 

So I guess what i'm getting at.. anyone has experience with usenet and/or private trackers. Which would be a good starting place?
