Archimede Posted March 21, 2025 Share Posted March 21, 2025 Many thanks to brother Adenman for his awesome and constant contribution :) I have used for a few years TextCrawler (by digitalvolcano) and I thought it was the best and fastest tool to quickly search text strings within files... Today I tested Search Text in Files v4.3 (by Vovsoft) and I must admit that I am very impressed by its performance and speed. The "Show Found Lines" button does a nifty job to quickly show all found instances with sufficient details and then a simple click on the "Export To File" button (within the "Show Found Lines" screen) and all found strings get neatly listed in the file format (txt csv xls) of your choice!
