Sublym3 Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Hi everyone,Im running Nod32 version 2.51.26 and for the last 6 days it has failed to download the latest Virus Definitions. Anyone else had this problem or know how i can fix it?I have had Nod32 installed for quite a while now and is cracked with Nod-Fix v2.1. Yesterday I installed it on mine (i had been using another AV before) and could only update the engine (with much effort), but not the update.ver. it keeps telling me that the version is up to date, but it isnt... :( if anyone know what can be done, it will be much apreciated. thanx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

username Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Some of the evaluation servers are just hosting pretty much empty update.ver files.Compare the contents of hxxp://u3.eset.com/nod_eval/update.verwith hxxp://u25.eset.com/nod_eval/update.ver(they're just RAR archives with a different extension)At the time of posting the first one was virtually empty like the first example in my previous post and the second iwas complete like the second example in my previous post.The servers should fix themselves or you can set a specific server manually instead of automatically choose.
