shought
"When it's your time, it's your time, whether you smoke or not."Sounds like my mom with her BS about: "If you can't change things, just leave them alone.".Obviously if you're gonna get run over by a truck it will most likely not be caused by cigarettes (unless you went out to get a pack :P), but you can't argue that it's bad for you, it just is. (Not considering human evolution over a timespan of around 5000 years, which could cause us to (accidentally) adapt to these 'smoky circumstances'.)Also this attitude is very inconsiderate towards people who don't like, or are allergic to (like I am), smoke. If I go in a smoky room I might faint or get severe headaches...

If I go in a smoky room I might faint or get severe headaches..."When it's your time, it's your time, whether you smoke or not." sounds like BS ... but if you think of it ... 100% true.I agree that smoking is bad for the health ... it's the "when you smoke you die" part that I don't buy ... who would not die anyway? Also, you said the attitude of smokers are very inconsiderate to others .... I don't know in your place ... but here it is illegal to smoke in public places (although not being implemented strictly) ... I myself don't smoke in public places and I hate the smell of smoke coming from other smokers ... so the "attitude" would boil down to each individual smokers and not in general. But following this exact same reasoning you wouldn't mind if I'd come over right now and kill you? Since, well, you'd die anyway, some time. (You'd have to buy me a ticket though  :P)It's illegal to smoke in public places here as well, but that's not the point. I was talking about your 'If it's your time, it's your time', it's not just 'you' about who we are talking, you have to consider the 'side-effects'. Obviously you do have a point with the prohibition of smoking in public places now.

jalaffa
Psilocybine mushrooms (addictiveness score: 17) - Seventeen percent is a pretty low for 'shrooms -- almost makes me feel like it's noise and not fact. I mean, if I have a really good *portabello* mushroom sandwich I'll crave them for at least a week.R evaluating modus here
