Zeus_Hunt Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 The man who threatened to eat Lennox Lewis' children and who bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear is now looking for a new way to create a media buzz and announced that, up next, he would be fighting women in the ring.Although 40-year-old Mike Tyson stated that he had no intention of returning to the ring, he is now preparing to launch his 'Mike Tyson's World Tour', on Friday in Youngstown, Ohio. It's not professional boxing, he stressed out, it's all for charity and having fun. But he did mention that he plans to get a woman in the ring with him and that woman would be none other than Ann Wolfe, a boxer by trade.Apparently, the former heavyweight champion made the announcement to the press without prior consulting Wolfe, whose promoter denies she will take part in such an event, even if it's for charity. 'That's the first I've heard of it. No state would sanction that. She would be outweighed by 60 to 70 pounds. Ann would never entertain the idea', he said in response to Tyson's words.But Mike is certain that the fight will take place and assures all those concerned that he won't be as brutal as he was when he was young. 'It's all fun. I'm not Mike Tyson. I'm not 20 years old. I'm not going to smash anybody. I'm not going to talk about smashing anybody's brains. You're not going to see that guy no more', he said. When asked about Wolfe, Tyson expressed his admiration for her as a boxer and confirmed that he is more than serious about fighting women: 'She's [Wolfe] such a prominent, dominant woman in the boxing field.
