What's New:

- Ability to block web pages according to keywords in page content or URL;

- Redesign of main program windows;

- Redesign of notification system (single notification settings dialog);

What's new:

"Critical Objects" is redesigned into new "System Guard" component

- Critical registry entries and system files are protected from being modified according to preset rules;

- Number of protected objects is increased;

- Ability to create custom rules to protect registry entries and system files is implemented;

- In Application Rules section, there is an ability to create custom rules for applications that have a higher priority than the global

rules (exclusions).

New "Application Guard" component

- Applications' configuration files and registry branches are protected from being accessed by unauthorized processes;

- Ability to report applications to be protected to Agnitum company.

New "File and Folder Lock" component

- Protection of access to files and folders specified by user.

"Process Activity" is redesigned

- Algorithm used to define I/O counters is changed;

- Activity log is moved to the separate page;

- Process modules list is implemented;

- Ability to quarantine a process or a module is implemented.

"File and Registry Monitor" is redesigned

- Activity tracking and performance issues are fixed.

UI restyling

- General appearance and product dialogs are redesigned according to Windows Vista/Windows 7 style.

Anti-Malware component is redesigned

- Ability to specify real-time protection monitor reaction on detecting malware is added;

- Ability to scan boot sectors is added;

- Flexible component settings;

- Mail scanner is improved, ability to cure attachments is added;

- Automatic scan of removable USB devices;

- Component executables are now updated along with signature databases via Agnitum Update utility.

Firewall

- Load of the channel between driver and monitoring service is significantly decreased;

- Content filtering algorithm is improved (local traffic and binary threads are not filtered);

- Critical issues in TDI/TLI filters used on Windows 2000/XP/Vista are fixed resulting in increased system stability;

- Stateful packet inspection (SPI) for UDP protocol is implemented;

- Filtering of invalid TCP flags is implemented.

Proactive Protection component

Various new leaktests are blocked including those using the following techniques:

- Deletion of important files using NtDeleteFile() system call;

- MoveFileEx() API with MOVEFILE_DELAY_UNTIL_REBOOT flag set to rename important files;

- Deletion of important registry keys and values using RegRestoreKey() API;

- Deletion of important files and directories using the standard method that is implemented by DeleteFile() and RemoveDirectory() API;

- MoveFile() API to rename important files;

- Deletion of important files using FILE_DELETE_ON_CLOSE option of NtCreateFile() system call;

- Change of the security descriptor of important registry keys;

- Corruption of important files by setting the end of file information;

- Corruption of important files by rewriting their data via direct disk access;

- Corruption of important files using FSCTL_SET_ZERO_DATA operation;

- Write to different additional autorun entries;

- Various techniques injecting malicious DLLs into Internet Explorer process.

A lot of minor fixes.

Thanks for the update. There sure has been a lot of Beta updates for the new version. The latest is in fact 7.0 (3330.505.1221)
