vitorio Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 (edited) I am streaming a movie and used VLC to watch it. when watched it in my Android Phone I can see the subtitles, which are English but once casted to the Samsung TV the subtitles stop displaying. I searched the internet and is a known issue among some video players with some movies. My question, can any one know an Open Source video player in which this issue is not shown. ps Proposed options found Internet "Due to an issue with Chromecast, some content may not show captions on the first segment while being cast. To watch with captions, stop casting until the first segment is complete, or view the content on a TV some content may not show captions on the first segment while being cast.
