*dcs18
Fair enough, Jose.I'm 100% positive your HUAWEI E176 would require its firmware to be updated to the latest version.

*dcs18
In the wake of Windows Se7en, new hardware is always a good idea. However, to help you a little bit more on troubleshooting, just ensure the following:-01.) Whatever firewall you're using is set to allow sharing02.) Both your systems are members of the same WorkGroup03.) Both the 'Network discovery' as well as 'File and printer sharing' are enabled04.) The network is set to 'Home' or 'Work' instead of 'Public.'05.) UserName is identical on all systems and06.) At least one folder is being shared through advanced sharing
sanjoa
I've the firewall disabled. Workgroup is the same. Network discovery? don't know what's that. Network is set to Work. UserName is identical and a folder is being shared. Only password is the problem: I don't know if it recognizes my pass.
*dcs18
I've the firewall disabled. Some firewalls can block the network even while disabled.Network discovery? don't know what's that.Check how to enable your 'Network Discovery.'Only password is the problem: I don't know if it recognizes my pass. It's advisable to type passwords in order to avoid a space on either of the extremes.Nevertheless, I'm sure the root cause is your HUAWEI E176.
