I there a way to restore my messages from my Google Drive backup folder?

I can see the backup folder but no options to restore them.

Just want to restore the messages only, if possible, please.

It is an Android Pixel 6.

Thanks.

ps Selectively Restore SMS from Google Drive without Factory Reset or third party applications.

What kind of messages are you talking about and why do you think they should be stored in Google Drive. Usually only cloud usage history, device history and nothing else is saved there.
As far as I know, no messages have ever been saved there, only attachments you've personally sent via gmail.
All deleted emails will be in the trash for 30 days and then will be deleted forever unless you delete them yourself before the 30 days are up and then they are not no more recoverable for you, only the police and security service can then restore them then... they have teir own copies.

Sure - maybe I'm wrong, but I just checked. I have nothing there except history.

Google Pixel 6 Pro allows to create a backup without resorting to third-party services. This way you can create a backup and save it in the device's memory. You will need to:

Open the settings.
Go to the "About the device" section, then select "Backup and Restore".
Press the "Mobile device” button.
Mark the necessary data, including apps, media and contacts.
Click "Create a backup".

Yes, I know all that. And one.google.com is for you to see everything related to your Google account in one place. Only reviews, links and guides are available there and nothing else.

Well, yes, if you have made backups, you can of course also use them, but you can't see them on this picture, then they should be somewhere else. There on this picture is only overview of history.

@vitorio I did some searching yesterday and I guess you already know the answer to this...

It's either third-party software or contact customer service. Four searches and it's the same triumvirate: reset,third-party or customer service...

Thanks to all.

Any recommendation for a third party application to recover text messages from Drive backup.

Anyhow I can look for them under the contacts I sent them, since I only erase one contact messages.
