sefton22 Posted June 24, 2023 Share Posted June 24, 2023 we all get tagged in comments when people forget something. since nsane rules changed, members do get confused what we can and can't post/ comment on is there a part of the forum we can ask general questions for anyone to respond to or can we only contact admin/ mods etc? I will start with the guidelines. Guidelines - Nsane Forums Guidelines have never changed since this site is alive, and we just add extra lines for members for documentations on how to do some stuff such as sharecode system. Software update forum templates and guidelines Were made by Lite as everyone sees the date April 7, 2010, and we haven't added or remove anything from it. It's same template since 2010. The same goes to other forums all templates and guidelines were made years ago, and we haven't changed any rules. The only major change we have made is News & Update forum, and there's nothing to be confused about. News & Updates - Nsane Forums We only stopped allowing sharing links to any other materials, and we opened a new forum for them only. FrontPage Software Files - Nsane Forums All members are allowed to discuss anything on the News & Update forum but sharing links to any other materials files is forbidden. The only issue we have with members is that no one is reading just like @Airstream_Bill he quoted me without reading my post, and he said this So, rules have not changed in years, yet many members they just don't read nor follow them. Also, you have zero knowledge about what it takes to keep this site running for everyone to use. CaptainK Posted July 19, 2023 Share Posted July 19, 2023 I am sure I am guilty..... of not remembering all the rules of this wonderful site and I think I have a good idea of the HW and SW and administration efforts. I do not know how many administrators they have or why they enjoy?, doing what they do, but I know it is a thankless effort. For the long timers in here they probably have a good idea of what the rules are by reading all the posts. For the one time or short time users, those are most likely the offenders. When posting, I just try to think what kind of trouble would my post place on this website for the owners.
