I have a note 20 ultra I would like to know a good program to keep (not always) in the background to download emails that does not consume the battery to much samsung app and gmail I think consumes a lot I found FairEmail looks great it has everything but if you need it I can close the app or make it run in the background but ... are there apps that consume less?

Try K-9 Mail:

https://k9mail.app/

https://k9mail.app/download

https://f-droid.org/packages/com.fsck.k9/

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fsck.k9

https://www.amazon.com/K-9-Dog-Walkers-Mail/dp/B004JK61K0/

https://github.com/k9mail/k-9/releases

It's the lightest & secure & powerful mail app for decades. Also, tested working best on Samsung devices.

Hi,

I too think FairEmail is pretty good, the only problem I have with it is staying up with the updates schedule. 🙃
