.NET Framework 4.8 is not supported on the following versions of Windows.

  • Windows 10 1507
  • Windows 10 1511

If you're using Windows 10 1507 or 1511 and you want to install the .NET Framework 4.8, you first need to upgrade to a later Windows 10 version.
If don't want upgrade, Your max .NET Framework is 4.6.1 (even not 4.6.2)

@Kalju

Hello friend

I find a script here that can install Netframework on an old pc

But abbodi's script  requires Windows 10 WinPE image with Windows PowerShell support

Can you send me that Win10 PE in an iso format ?

Could you upload it to mega.co.nz and send me here the link?

create here custom Windows 10 WinPE image with Windows PowerShell support
