So Im about to format the disk and loose al the info but whats the best way to do it so I can give a chance to a recovery software program to try to restore the information. Israeli_Eagle Posted November 28, 2021 Share Posted November 28, 2021 (edited) Depends how exactly it was encrypted. If for example was (high level and full) Bitlocker then zero chance without key.
