Administrator DKT27 Posted March 19, 2010 Administrator Share Posted March 19, 2010 I'm using Avast now. ESET and Avast have their own positives and negatives. And I'll surely rate ESET a percent higher than Avast Free. I liked Avast's interface and the new sounds thingy. But in opposite to others say, Avast does slow down my PC a bit. But the RAM usage is quite less in Avast.ANW it's recommended that you install the latest version when there's available. ;)
Night Owl
When you wanna upgrade. Unfix it. Uninstall ESET(ESET guys recommend it). And Install the new version. Re-fix.Before upgrading, you might want to export your settings. After upgrading, you can them import your settings so you don't have to set them up again. You can export and import settings under Setup -> Import/export settings...
