USB 3 ISSUES

Over the last 12 months, i've had external drives and flash drives drop out!

Flash drives seem to be more prone to dropping out, always put this down to sh@tty hardware

The flash drives on a usb2 port seem to have no issues, but who wants to run a usb3 device on usb2 port?

Now recently i have heard b450 motherboards have had issues with usb3 ports!

i upgraded to the latest msi b450 bios, which is supposed to fix compatibility for usb devices, they should be selling snake oils.....lol

I've also used software, such as DriveCleanup, - removes non present drives from the device tree

I may have to live with the fact USB3 sucks on a msi tomohawk max b450 , but hopefully some was has a fix

Stay safe ppl :)

I have solved my problems with USB3 by disabling the fast startup

Control panel>energy saving settings>pushing power button

uncheck fast boot

reboot

Plus also better disable the FastBoot option in BIOS. This way the devices & drivers are more correctly started. Both together are strongly recommended!
