SD card question

Recommended Posts

I have an SD card that is 128 GB in size. After formatting it, I see a LOST.DIR folder that takes up 95 GB of it. What is that file for and is it necessary on the CD card if i download video files from windows PC to view it on my Android tablet? Can i just delete it and use the extra space on more video files or will it harm the ability to view the files?

TIA

Like on most online forums the use of the 'Like / Thanks' button is preferred over simply posting 'Thanks' or something similar. Making an excessive amount of posts which add little to nothing to a topic might result in a post count reduction.
