If i was to crack or modify a piece of software, then upload it to my own website i could receive a request to remove it, if i comply with the request then usually it ends there right? Now if i upload on a file hosting site eg. mirrored.to etc they wouldnt issue me with the request it would get issued to the website hosting the file instead ? and finally can you receive DMCA for having a link to copyright content on your website even if you dont host the file ? cyberloner Posted July 12, 2021 Share Posted July 12, 2021 if you host on the website... dmca will find your hosting and ask delete it........ if host on other hosting... they will delete and block it........ if complain about your website.. and not hosting... ignore it......
