Dropbox 0.7.110 Stable

The 0.7 series has finally gone stable! This build fixes a couple of bugs we've found in the current stable release and will eventually become the next build we release. The reason the "stable" builds in the forum are slightly ahead of the builds available for download from the front page is that we are testing fixes to a few very specific bugs in the 0.7 series while we are gearing up to give you guys some 0.8 builds. Thanks for all your help testing Dropbox!

Regarding the 0.8 branch: It's on the way; our apologies for the frustration everyone is feeling about the release cycle. Satisfaction will come soon!

Since 0.7.110:

- Remaining preparations for auto-update

- Potential fix for the Windows 7/vista 64-bit tray icon not showing right after install. let us know if this build fixes this problem!

- A fix for some cases where windows installation fails once or twice if you had a virus scanner running

- Some fixes to incorrect permission problem detection on OS X

Since the previous stable build (0.6.570):

- Many performance improvements

- Many memory improvements

- Many stability fixes

- Toolbar buttons added to Finder on OS X

- LAN sync

For an error free install on Linux, first make sure Dropbox is stopped by choosing "Stop Dropbox" from the tray icon menu. Then run the following commands in your home directory:

$ rm -r .dropbox-dist/

$ tar xzf dropbox-lnx.x86-0.7.110.tar.gz # or x86_64
