What are pirates downloading? 'Mortal Kombat' tops the chart, followed by ‘Nobody'. 'Godzilla vs. Kong' completes the top three. The data for our weekly download chart is estimated by TorrentFreak, and is for informational and educational reference only. These torrent download statistics are meant to provide further insight into the piracy trends. All data are gathered from public resources. This week we have two entries in the list. “Mortal Combat” is the most downloaded title. The film can be watched online legally on HBO Max, but that’s not yet available around the world. funkyy Posted April 27, 2021 Share Posted April 27, 2021 I've seen "The Courier", "The Father" both excellent, and "Godzilla v Kong" so-so. I've got "Chaos Walking", "The Marksman", "Zack Snyder's Justice League" and "Nobody" ready to watch. The other 3 I'm not too bothered about. I would recommend "The Virtuoso" which I saw the other night. Anthony Hopkins is in it, but the principal character is a hit man (I forget the actor's name) and it's worth a watch. Yep, that's the guy. It was a bit different from the usual "hitman" movies...not full of car chases and acrobatic special effects, more like a character study (without being too arty), good performances and held my interest to the end. I did not know about it before and it doesn't have any well-known actors, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Moreover, the action (hand-combat and so on) was very realistic and not of the over-the-top wires-and-CG stuff that can never happen in real life. Especially the long and dramatic "scene in the bus" is what many of us "nobodies" during our daily commute to work sometimes have dreamed ourselves to happen - minus some own bruises, of course !
