Haven't updated in a long ass time. Here are this week's updates.

Spider-Man 3 - Topher Grace has changed his looks and I'm guessing for the role in the next flick. Here's the link http://people.aol.com/people/galleries/0,1...57077_3,00.html

Thomas Haden Church is going to play the villain.

Batman Begins Sequel - Steve Carell put an end to rumors that he's the next Joker, which leaves the door open for the humorless Paul Bettany. Even worse, producers weren't so turned off by the TomKat fiasco to boot the one cast member who can't act: Katie Holmes will continue her Scientology-fueled Hollywood ladder-climbing.

The Da Vinci Code - The New York Times speculates that Christian groups want the studio to ditch the Mary-Jesus love-child angle. (religious people  )

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - The next installment marks the first time the series ventures into PG-13 territory — it got the rating for "sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images" — a k a puberty. It'll be an NC-17 orgy by the time Half-Blood Prince hits theaters in 2008!(

 )

The Fountain - In an effort to save his dying wife, a man (Hugh Jackman) searches for the secret of eternal life in three different centuries.

A link to the official site. http://pdl.warnerbros.com/wbmovies/thefoun...site/index.html

Rambo 4 - Latest casting rumor: Burt Reynolds as Rambo's dad. Using the math skills I picked up during my five years as an English major — oh, like anybody graduates in four years — I've worked out that Burt would have fathered Sly at age 10. Impressive! (Some of these guys comments are freaking hilarious.)

This week's updates

Casino Royale - Producers offered Hugh Jackman a three picture James Bond deal - he said no.

Jarhead - This adaptation of Anthony Swofford's memoir focuses on the experiences of a Marine during the first Persian Gulf war.

Here's the link for the trailer - http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/2005/IJK...ead/trailer.php

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - A private detective (Val Kilmer) partners with a failed actress (Michelle Monaghan) and a crook pretending to be an actor (Robert Downey Jr.) and the three come across a murder.

Here's the link to the trailer http://movies.go.com/movies/trailer?name=k...rner%20Brothers

Aquaman - Though just in the development stages, this film would be based on the comic book character Aquaman, who used telepathic-like abilities to summon undersea creatures.

James Cameron will direct this flick. Some rumors were to star Kiefer Sutherland and Monica Potter.

Stay - A psychologist (Ewan McGregor) at an elite East Coast university works to try to prevent the suicide of one of his patients (Ryan Gosling), whose strange predictions for the future keep coming true.

Here's the link to the trailer - http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2642819

Aeon Flux - Four hundred years from now, disease has wiped out the majority of Earth's population, save for the residents of Bregna, a city-state protected by a giant wall and ruled by scientists. Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron) is an operative for the Monican Rebellion, an underground group led by the Handler (Frances McDormand) who wants Aeon to kill the government's leader.

Here's the link to the trailer. Looks interesting http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/2005/0-9...lux/trailer.php

Daredevill 2 - Rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are doing a sequel won't go away. Does nobody remember that the original Daredevil sucked? People talked up Elektra, but it sucked, too. Let me say this: Gettin' hitched lowers your I.Q. a good 40 points, and Affleck was already a couple beers shy of a six-pack …

Doom - Check out the trailer on the website http://www.doommovie.com/

Da Vinci Code - Westminster Abbey said no, but Lincoln Cathedral was happy to oblige as was a small Scottish chapel. British churches are divided over whether to allow filming of "The Da Vinci Code," an adaptation of Dan Brown's biblically revisionist megaseller.

The novel has drawn strong protests from the Roman Catholic Church, and the movie version has fanned whispers of discontent in Lincoln, where Tom Hanks and the crew were filming Tuesday.

But the head of Lincoln's Anglican cathedral, the Very Rev. Alec Knight, conceded that the novel was "far-fetched and heretical" but defended the decision to allow filming. The cathedral in central England accepted a reported $180,000 to double as Westminster Abbey in the Ron Howard-directed film.

"It has clearly touched the public imagination, and the church needs to open up a debate about it rather than throw one's hands up and walk away from it," Knight said.

He confirmed the cathedral had received a donation, but refused to disclose the amount. Sony Pictures, which plans to release the film next May, would not comment.

Brown's fictional thriller follows professor Robert Langdon as he investigates the murder of an elderly member of an ancient society that guards dark secrets about the quest for the Holy Grail and the story of Jesus Christ. The book's mix of code-breaking, art history, religion and mystical lore has helped it sell 25 million copies since it was published two years ago.

But many Christians have been offended by the book's central claim — that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had descendants. Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, a former Vatican official, said the book espoused heresy and called on Catholics to boycott it.

Westminster Abbey, the 1,000-year-old London edifice where British monarchs are crowned and buried — and whose Chapter House is featured in the book — turned down an approach from producers earlier this year, saying it would be "inappropriate" to allow filming.

"Although it is a fine page-turner, we cannot commend or endorse the contentious and wayward religious and historic suggestions made in the book — nor its views of Christianity and the New Testament," the Abbey said in a statement.

Other Anglican institutions have been more welcoming. Winchester Cathedral in Southern England has given permission for filming to take place later this year, as has Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh.

The 40-by-90 foot medieval chapel has attracted tens of thousands of tourists, many of them American, since Brown popularized its links to the once-powerful Knights Templar, a medieval military order.

Chapel director Stuart Beattie said the 15th-century chapel expected 100,000 visitors this year, almost triple the number of two years ago.

This week's updates

X-Men 3 - DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS

Professor X catches a freaky disease and kicks the bucket. Most of the plot centers on Jean Grey's alter ego, Phoenix, who accidentally kills Cyclops and herself. That means she'll have bitten the big one in two movies in a row! The long-rumored Sentinels won't figure in the story, but Storm — who gets another new hairdo, this one much shorter — will have an expanded role, even giving the eulogy alongside Wolverine at X's funeral.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Here's the International trailer for the movie. The Movie Box

Superman Returns - Click the link to see Brandon Routh as Superman Blue Tights

Mission Impossible 3 - Here's the first pic of Tom and Keri Russell. Coming Soon!

I Dream of Jeannie - Rumors have Jessica Alba in the lead role.

High T - The movie stars Steve Carell and it's about a guy who's driven nuts by a massive dose of steroids.

The Bachelorette Party - Stars Nicole Kidman who is a High School teacher who fantasizes about one of her lit students

Saw II - The MPAA says the severed-finger poster is too gruesome, forcing a recall of the publicity materials. *Bastards*

Flightplan - Here's the link to the trailer. AOL Movies

Snakes on a Plane - An assassin lets a bunch of poisonous snakes loose on a passenger plane in an attempt to kill a witness being shepherded to Los Angeles by an FBI agent (Samuel L. Jackson).

Here's the link to a pic which shows Nathan Phillips covered in snakes.

i kinda figured that would happen after seeing the reflection at the end of the last movie. they're keeping with the comic story real well, except for the no sentinals thing

i wonder if they'll put jubilee in this one, there was a deleted scene of her in the last one

Evan Almighty - Snotty news anchor Evan Baxter (Carell) is chosen by God (Freeman) to build an ark in preparation for a second great flood.

*As you have guessed this is the sequel to Bruce Almighty and it will be probably very funny because of Steve Carell*

King Kong - Heres the Empire cover shot. Empire Online

Old School 2 - This sequel to the comedy hit Old School, will see the first film's three main characters — Mitch, Frank, and Beanie — head to Daytona Beach, Fla., for spring break.

X-Men 3 - It's not a good sign when a key cast member is confused about which part she'll be playing because the director is still rewriting. Shohreh Aghdashloo told reporters she's playing Dr. Cecilia Reyes, but she probably meant Dr. Kavita Rao — uh, will anyone notice the difference? Just give her a white coat and stethoscope and call it good. :(

Doom - Here's the link to the new trailer - Yahoo Movies

When Worlds Collide -This remake of the 1951 film tells the story of a group of scientists who discover that another planet is set to hit Earth and plan for a select group of people to leave the planet before the catastrophe.

Good news is that Steven Spielberg is now producing and may even direct.

This weeks updates

King Kong - Peter Jackson's throwing a huge premiere party in Times Square on Dec. 5, during which the remake will debut on 38 screens in front of 8,000 people.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Here's the American trailer and here is the British trailer

Southland Tales - Here are some pics of Sarah Michelle Gellar as a Porn Star in this movie. WARNING: THERE IS NO NUDITY

saw_two_ver3.jpg

Saw II - Here is the poster for this bad boy. And here is a new clip.

Batman Begins Sequel - It's down to two choices to play the Joker. Of course, I've heard that before, just like I've heard that the new James Bond has been cast more times than I care to remember. In any case, I'm rooting for Lachy Hulme over Paul Bettany because it'll be fun to hear people butcher his name.

Dave Chappelle's Block Party - Shot before he went nuts, this concert film captures a huge bash thrown in Brooklyn by Dave Chappelle, with appearances by Common, Blackstar, Kanye West and even a reunited Fugees.

Wonder Woman - oss Whedon's flip-flopping between two of his Serenity/Firefly stars, Morena Baccarin (the sexy hooker) and Summer Glau (the psycho ass-kicker).

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - In a recent interview, Keith Richards said he was too busy with the Rolling Stones' Bigger Bang tour to play Capt. Jack Sparrow's dad.

does anyone know if there will be X-men 4, 5, 6 and if it will be like james bond loads of films???

coz i would like to see in x-men 4 the brotherhood vs the x-men. vs the sentinals.

like the blob, and more brotherhood charecter include more x-men charecters.

also for example in x-men 5 if they ever make it they could have apocalypse taking over the wolrd like in the cartoon.

and that mean the brotherhood and the x-men to team up.

and like in x-men evolution for it to have a ultimate sentinel.

any news on any more films or only x-men 1,2 & 3?

but who like the idea of the brotherhood and the x-men to team up and fight apocalypse like in thye cartoon x-men evolution and laso for there to be a massive sentinal bigger than the normal ones to fight apocalypse like the episode final in x-men evolution.

i just think that x-men 3 should not finish there coz there are many thing to add like the sentinal, Apocalypse, many more character like Gambit, Blob, Juggernaut, etc etc.....

i just wish that i could give some ideas to the producers, writer of the ones that are doing the film X-men is there any fan mail or something?
