worm_mba Posted February 13, 2021 Share Posted February 13, 2021 This is a follow-up story from Bloomberg claiming how products made by Super Micro Computer Inc were tampered with, allegedly helping in information espionage. For some context, they had published a similar story in 2018, wherein they had labelled Apple & Amazon as potential victims, Both of them had denied it, but it seems Bloomberg has doubled down on its findings with this report yesterday (12-Feb). It's a long read- if you'd like to check it out, but there are a couple of takeaways for me: 1. You can't trust completely 'experts' with cybersecurity, howsoever reputed they might be, & 2.
