nsane.forums
Ubisoft has announced a new entry in its tactical-military shooter franchise. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is currently in development at its internal Paris studio. Ubisoft claims that the game will "go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience." The team responsible for the two previous titles in the series, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, are currently handling development of Future Soldier.Reports of a new entry in the long-running Tom Clancy franchise first surfaced in April of last year, when Ghost Recon 4 was listed in an Ubisoft financial statement. Originally slated for release prior to March 2010, Future Soldier is now scheduled to arrive this holiday season. A public relations representative for Ubisoft commented to VG247 that while the publisher is not prepared to name all the platforms the game will be released on, it has at least confirmed that the title will grace the Xbox 360.An Xbox 360-exclusive multiplayer beta will launch this summer, allowing early access for those who purchase Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Conviction in April. The game is coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, with PC details coming "later." View: Original Article
