I need suggestion for firewall to use

I want a fast firewall (NOT all-in-one, I don't want anti-spyware, anti-suspected-programs, anti-all-things, ecc.).

Suggestions?

OutPost?

I agree to that, ive used Macafee, Norton, Zone Alarm, and all the other firewalls and I find outpost to be the best one out there

If your interested in a free one look at Comodo v2.3.5. User friendly like ZAfree but with more features, tighter protection like parent application leak monitoring.

i suggest jetico or outpost pro, jetico better imo.

i had have suggested KIS 2006, but since u dont want a suite, the 2 above mentioned standalones will do u just fine, coz the fwall alone (antihacker) from kaspersky is worse than outpost&jetico without proactive defense and the other (extremellly cool :dance2: ) modules from KIS 2006.

anyway, u might wanna take a look at this and make an opinion 4 urself (VERY GOOD site , imo)

Currently I'm running:

Outpost Firewall Pro ver. 3.51.759.6511 (462)

I have however upgraded a few builds.

The thing is I'd been using Nortons for the past 5 years. Firewall & Antivirus on an Intel Celeron with a 10 gig harddrive. How f@cking stupid was I!?!?!

I changed to Outpost & Nod32 and haven't looked back.

My 10 gig machine, complete with monitor keyboard, mouse etc cost me £60 for 5 years service. I sold it the other week for £50. My newer machine is double the specs, which still isn't saying much, but it will suffice for my needs.

I'm not the sort of person (like some people I know) that spends £1,500 on a brand new machine just to play the latest games.

Like I say. I've no use for that amount of space. I'm happy to build my own machines from old parts for around £50 rather than £300-£1,500.
