Where Can I find Benign software for research purposes, I do not need much but around 50-60 of those

I am working on a Research and I am looking for software that are beingn so that I can compare them with  my existing dataset of Ransomware.

When you say software, do you mean application software? In such case I'd look at older versions which might not have all vulnerabilities fixed
