Ambrocious
Conficker was designed to become better or rather worse was it not? It is joined by the lesser information gathering malware to become intelligent and the programmer only has to act when he/she needs to in order to upgrade. Such a sophisticated bit of software can only be made by someone inside some government I assume.
HX1
First of all, I want to know how long it would take Conficker to upload its AI code.... I mean I could be dead by that time.. LOL.. 'Cloud Virus'.. and yet still people don't do anything to protect themselves from things of the like..I would say that this is possibly been an infection which ha started at their Department.. possibly from an outside source such as CD/USB.. or other device..even an iPod..or transfered via Police based equipment.. it all has to checked..( and hopefully backup systems used.. ) Maybe even from browsing habits.. Things is that they should be using a protected DNS and proper security software and if so.. then either it has evolved or someone has structured the system to be vulnerable in this manner for the infection..
