The mother and the 2.75kg baby are doing well after the caesarean operation at a hospital in Changchun in Jilin province. The Changchun-based City Evening News reported the girl’s parents have sought legal help. Under Chinese law, anyone having sex with a girl under the age of 14 is convicted of rape. There are no cases from India and China in Wikipedia’s list of young mothers up to the age of 11. There are only two cases of girls less than nine years given birth and five instances of 9-year old mothers in the world. Another report from Shanghai based hospital said 30% of young girls who had surgical abortions were school students. The hospital run by the People’s Liberation Army revealed that 50% of them were in vocational schools and the rest studied in colleges. The hospital reported that most cases of pregnancy took place immediately after school and college vacations. At least one-third of the cases were in the secondary or advanced stages of pregnancy by the time the girls came to the hospital, it said. The youngest girl to become a mother was aged five year seven months in 1939 in Peru, says Wikipedia. The second case was in 2006 when an 8-year old girl gave birth in the same country. OMG.. what about her health and body.. and more importantly the health of the child.. you know is it even going to develop properly.. Then the thought about who planted the seed.. I mean you talking about possibly a guy close to here own age 10 and up.. given various circumstances.. But the first thing that comes to mind is a guy who is older and molesting the child.. which is where we hit a huge problem... and are thinking about the possible exploitation of the child.. which is disgusting... and Hopefully by the year 2050, as mentioned some of these issues would be medically approached...I'm hoping a genetic test would reveal who the father would be..If I look at this in another light.. I don't see it to be that bad. Because it seems to be a part of normal development of children and teens and of the such.. always has been for as long a time has existed. It is a part of their discovery process. But if I see this as two kids that messed around both possibly in puberty early.. or around the same age.. I see it as something as innocent.. that had some repercussions which were unforeseen.. possibly a health hazard to both.. ( one way or the other ). We can see the kids as one thing or another even as being preyed upon.. but truth is it is all in innocence and human interaction...
