<img src="http://www.nsanedown.com/images/logos/IDM.png" class="logo" alt="IDM" title="IDM" />Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use. Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download managers and accelerators Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during download process and reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve best acceleration performance.

Go with the retail one

here, I'll upload the installer to my dropbox, until jalaffa uploads it to mediafire.

PS: just so you know...the changelog for this build is just "Fixed several bugs" and it refers to the custom toolbar not remaining after system restart (Yes I know this cause I mailed them about that bug)...nothing more

Q: What is the difference between trial and registered versions?

Registered version has a number of additional features: no usage limitations, management of site passwords, delete all completed button, better utilization of bandwidth, built-in download logic optimizer. After the purchase you will also get prioritized technical support and the right for FREE upgrade to all new versions of IDM during one year after the registration.

No difference actually.

This is purely preference-wise, as most users chose the "retail" setup over the trial one mainly because of the "retail" title in it :lmao:...the patch is for both versions, and when applied to the trial version, it enables all the functions of a retail one...so there isn't really any difference when choosing an installer for the Patch.

But as I've said, most users still prefer the retail installer because it sounds cool

And because to get the installer you need to be a subscriber to Tonec, and in this pirate world of ours, we tend to cling on to any piece of retail software we can get our sticky hands on :lmao:

Thanks for the update (it was quite fast.) :)

am trying to prevent the Quick Update of IDM. This is one painful feature which informs us that an update is available. When updated to the new version, the program often starts nagging about the fake serial. :why:

I don't face the above issue, myself due to effective firewall rules. However, I have to frequently rush to my Client's (who don't use firewalls) to re-patch the new installation of IDM. :dunno: Been inspecting the 'registry' and 'hosts file' options for the better part of today trying for some solution. :frusty:

It's damn embarrassing :pirate: (about the fake serial.)

Hi guys,

Nice to see you again. Actually i have something for you.

The IDM 5.18.8 precracked by CrYs18 (dl.dropbox.com):

/u/4295312/idman5.18.8precracked.exe

Or mirror (mediafire.com):

/?dx2fimiwnkj

Simply install, reboot if asked and use. Please note that some antivirus programs give false positive alerts. Do not think about it. It is a script for automatically moving mouse, which makes those alerts.

Olexijl

PS: For people need hosts file solution add following adresses to hosts file (you do not need it with my provided installer):

127.0.0.1 tonec.com

127.0.0.1 www.tonec.com

127.0.0.1 registeridm.com

127.0.0.1 www.registeridm.com

127.0.0.1 secure.registeridm.com

127.0.0.1 www.internetdownloadmanager.com

127.0.0.1 secure.internetdownloadmanager.com

127.0.0.1 www.secure.internetdownloadmanager.com

127.0.0.1 mirror.internetdownloadmanager.com

Would anyone be able to download it(IDM) if you block internetdownloadmanager.com from the Host file?

No, generally speaking I guess - not unless one is a :pirate: like us (sourcing from rapidshare, depositfiles, etc, etc.) BTW, Internet Download Manager checks on 174.133.70.100 over port # 80 for the Quick Update.

Run this file to automatically add needed entries in hosts file (mediafire.com):

/?jnjzzvmmmt1

Please run it as administrator. It will ask you for a backup (in russian however), click "OK", then you are done.

greetings from our russian IDM friends :dance2:

Hey Olexji, thank you. I somehow seem to have neglected your previous post. BTW, does this work on Windows Se7en (Microsoft has made changes now in the implementation of the hosts file.)
