Clinton unveiling U.S. policy on Internet freedom

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is expected to unveil a new U.S. policy Thursday morning designed to encourage the world's governments to ensure their citizens have open access to the Internet. The speech here comes a little more than a week after Google's blunt declaration about Chinese censorship and illegal electronic intrusions, including allegations of theft of intellectual property, and the company's assertion that it will pull out of China if it can't reach a reasonable understanding with the Beijing government.

Check out this story from Wednesday as a preview of what can be expected from Clinton, and stay here for frequent updates to her remarks this morning.

More details to come..........
