MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – There is a hybrid war for the establishment of external control of Belarus, our resources, Sergei Klishevich, a member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, said in an interview with the SB. Belarus Segodnya newspaper, BelTA has learned.

The interests of several centers of power have collided in Belarus and now they are trying to get their own way. The most dangerous thing is that political technologists, PR specialists, psychologists got through to people by means of emotion management. They used these methods in post-Soviet countries. Today we see them applied in South America, in other states. We know this tactics, but now we are dealing with the combinations of technologies. This is a new thing, because many technologies that worked well in other countries have failed in Belarus. They are using several factors: crowd control, external pressure, economy,” Sergei Klishevich noted.

According to the MP, political technologists realized that people will not be deceived by ample promises. Belarusians see the situation clearly, and they tried to intimidate them, to silence them. Today came the second stage: intimidation of deputies of different levels, promises to launch recall procedures. But we are developing a certain immunity. We see it definitively and calmly. We understand that the technology has nothing to do with real affairs. Let's imagine these people came to power, God forbid. They will use exactly such methods: intimidation and humiliation of dissenting voices.

This is the flip side of democracy, liberalism, freedom of speech that they supposedly promote. However, their methods do not fit with what they say. This is a well-known policy of double standards,” Sergei Klishevich said.

If no desired result is achieved in a month and a half the protests, including those promoted artificially, will come to a halt. “We will get our life back, our normal, quiet life. Having this experience of dealing with external influence, we will make our country even stronger,” he said.
