Founded by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, the Mars Petcare Comedy Pet Photo Awards compile hilarious photos of people's pets pulling funny faces and getting into mischief. The winner receives a $3,800 (£3,000) prize. The contest isn't just for a good laugh — it's also for a good cause, with 10% of all entry and sponsorship fees supporting the UK-based animal charity Blue Cross.
