Edion Gecos
I changed the default lock screen background picture in Windows 8.1 by browsing and selecting a personal picture that better suits my taste. But unfortunately I checked and chose the wrong picture. Thus I deleted that wrong picture from my "pictures" folder and chose a new background picture for the lock screen. However, that first picture that I wrongly chose is still visible under "PC Setting --> Personalize"and still can be chosen as the lock screen background! I went to the "C:\Windows\Web\Screen" folder where the lock screen pictures are stored, but only the official pictures that came with Windows are there... So my question is: Where are the personally-selected lock screen pictures stored? I need to get rid of that wrong picture!
flash13
Do a file search for the name of your personal picture. You'll get more info than you need , however you'll have your picture.
