Nemesis Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 Anyone heard of an app called "fire daemon" kaspersky detected and deleted the .exe but it is still trying to open, which means that it is still on my comp.the files are:C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2daa.dir00\FireDaemon.exe.mdmpC:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2daa.dir00\appcompat.txtand I cant find the pathname or the file using search in XP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CrEsPo Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 FireDaemonBy the way, it's in your temporary files, so just clear your temporary files with disk cleanup or do it manually and it'll be gone.DOCUME~1 is Documents and SettingsLOCALS~1 is Local SettingsUse those if you want to clear the temporary files manually.
