Kazaa Lite version 2.7.2 from nsane productions is infectes with the SPR "SPR/Tool.Madtol.D" !!!

It is in the file ...\K-Lite\klitehlp.dll

Dear Nsane, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!

Please tell me that you are not big brother... ;)

Its how K-Lite hooks onto the KMD interface. You should add it to the exclusions list of your virus scanner.

Sorry if I, come off as a prick, ahrisss, but false positives are known to happen from time to time. Typically, if you're not sure what's going on, its better to ask for advice rather than to make accusations.

Actually... technically this is possibly a valid detection. The file you mentioned CAN be used for malicious purposes (such as key loggers), however it isn't in this case.

What virus scanner was this and what build of K-Lite?

Maybe nsane was building up our trust in him and feels like putting pointless spyware in his proggies for us now.

And is this spell check new or am I crazy?

EDIT: The spell check is from Minefield(3.0a of firefox). Crazy stuff.

The Virsus program I used has not caught it.I am having no pronlem wiith the program at all/ It works fine for me
