At the moment, BitTornado

However I don't think they're latest version is stable as it crashes on me when I exit the program.

BitComet was giving me horrible speeds.

Going to give ABC a try at some point this week

Azureus..

Hmm, and Im going to put BitTornado inplace of eXeem cause eXeem isnt really bit torrent. Its just some other crappy ass network that uses some of bit torrents core. But it isnt really bittorrent.

Azureus 2.3.0.0. :smartass:

eXeem was a complete failure, don't use it. No one else is. :smartass:

I just switched to ABC and its awesome, i shouldve switched a long time ago.

That's exactly what I said, when I went from Opera to FireFox. :smartass:

I've had ABC since the early 2.6.0 versions. It was really slow, and had lots of shutdown problems. It still does. But, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to take. :smartass:

All you need to do, is kill abc.exe from the processes.

Other then that, it's the best client ever, in my opinion.

Huh. That's a first... A BitTorrent client written in C++. :smartass:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well, I don't know what's wrong with that.

I haven't had any problems with XBT. It's small, uses small amount of resources, and easy to use.

I used ABC before, and I still think it's a great client, just didn't work with certain ports.

I also used Azureus, which was too bloated for me to use.

There are several bittorrent clients written in C++

True, like the one I use: Artic Torrent

Arctic is a minimal BitTorrent client. It wont have all the pretty features that other Torrent apps have, but focuses on low memory and cpu usage. Because it was written in C++, you dont get the high memory requirements of Java or high CPU usage of Python.

BTW, thanks to Lite for this :(

Azureus, somehow dowloading is faster with it.

Azureus is fast but cpu hog, BitComet will be fast with the right setting so my choice down to ABC, simple, no cpu hog and quite fast.

Just tried which one that suits you best.
