Back in 2019, Microsoft refreshed the Surface Pro and Surface Laptop lineup with new specs but did not talk about Surface Book 3. However, we have seen a lot of leaks confirming the existence of the Surface Book 3 and recent FCC filing suggest an imminent launch.

Now, the folks over at Windows Latest have uncovered Energy Star certification that seems to confirm the specs of both 13-inch and 15-inch Surface Book 3. According to the filing, the 15-inch Surface Book 3 will come with an Intel Core i7 processor with 4 physical CPU cores. It's not clear if Microsoft will be using Intel's latest 10th Generation mobile processors. Intel currently has a mobile CPU that matches the information in the filing. The Intel i7-1065G7 mobile CPU comes with 4 cores and 8 threads and a base frequency of 1.30 GHz. Apart from that, the laptop will also come with 32 GB of RAM. The filing does not reveal information related to the GPU but previous leaks suggest that the laptop may come with Nvidia's top-of-the-line Quadro GPU.

Moving on to the 13-inch Surface Book 3, the Energy Star filing reveals the same Intel i7 processor along with 32 GB of RAM. Again the filing does not mention anything about the GPU but previous leaks point towards the use of GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q and GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q graphics.

Microsoft is expected to launch the Surface Book 3 soon. There is no word on the pricing but we expect a premium pricing as Microsoft might position Surface Book 3 as a powerhouse for creators on the go.
