remember that since 6.36 trial reset script (J2Team's script) does not work and 30-day expired nagscreen is showed even when IDM Trial Reset (github) script is executed.

 

Also remember that IDM always find the way to connect with IDM website and other IPs so even when u think that u get it solved, wait some days or even hours until IDM rewrites a system location and will reconnect to validate your lic key. (you can not use an IP Blocking so easily since IDM has the power of rewriting protected system files just like a rootkit does.)
6.35.x and older will run permanently just using the github script made by J2Team every 30 days, 15 days if for some of latest builds of 6.35 by ex. 6.35.18. it works because of weak security in old builds.

if you´re running 6.36.x or newer, you must run IDM Trial Reset batch script made by @WindowsAddict . seems to work fine with 6.37.x

The Trial resetter works well on Trial and Retail versions, but I think it is part of the Retail version that the registration screen opens initially. But the trial version works fine without the registration screen as it should be. If I add blank input named serial, the registration screen does not open in Retail versions, but in the future it will probably show the fake serial screen, so I removed the empty entry named serial. The annoying registration screen does not open when this trial reset is used by installing a trial version only because the initial registration screen can be annoying when the Retail version is installed. This confirms my thesis. I have repeatedly tested the result has never changed. This confirms my suspicion as the difference between Retail and Trial version.

1. Create folder named "IDMan.exe.Local" in IDM installation path.

2. Goto C:\Windows\WinSxS and find folder like that one: 

x86_microsoft.windows.common-controls_yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy_x.x.xxxxx.xxx_none_yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Where's y is random letters and x is the version number.

find the folder with latest version number and copy all the folder name.

create a new folder in "IDMan.exe.Local" folder with the name that you copied,

and now just place the dll file in that folder.

Make "IDMan.exe.Local" folder read only so after updating idm dll file stays and not deleted.

3. Start IDM and done, it's activated.

 

Note

Windows Updates may update to new version and create a new folder with newer version once that happens find the folder, copy its name and rename folder name of the older version in IDM to the newer one.

I have the same problem in windows 8.1 64Bits applying IDM_Activator_v1.8_By_ActVer and if I apply IDM_6.3x_Crack_v17.2 I get the application registration window, but when I give it escape and check the IDM it appears to me that it is registered this is when it runs at start the pc, but it works well, I don't know how to prevent the window from appearing at the first startup.

First of all, delete any crack or dll injector from the program directory. Install or update the program, then try @Ali.Dbg trial reset utility. And finally apply the latest patch given by @Ali.Dbg or @The Hidden 2000
