1) Flintstones - for originality

2) X-men - 90's version

3) Tranformers - 80's version

4) G.I. Joe - 80's version

5) Simpsons - Homer is the best.

you forgot a whole crap-load.  Popeye, the Fantastic Four, Mighty Mouse, Hercules, Wally Gator, Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har, Yogi Bear, Go Go Gophers, Under Dog, a whole lot more I am sure.

some of the aforementioned cartoons I do like. Those would include Courage the Cowardly Dog, the Eddies :) and others, I watched them because when daughter was little she had them on telly all the time. But to me these dont seem old! I guess old is relative! :bag:

I like the old cartoons back when no piece of digital equipment were used in them. The colors were weird, sound effects & music were very eery & the villains and cartoon themes seemed like they came out from an imagination of a madman from a looney house. Compared with today's bright candy colors & lifelike sharp well drawn figures & cartoons, old cartoons & their villains are more scary than horror movies & possibly scary now more than when I was a kid.

Gotham city in the night with its city lights/fllodlights/searchlights is gothic to me more than anything else, the Joker as a character & his laughing gas is the best manual on how to become insanely sane. Looney Tunes, Bugs Bunny & Pink Panther are an insanely wise & peacefully smart attitude towards bullying, pranks & everyday life situations. Tom & Jerry is the best religion there is to be, it is the best to outline the polar/dual nature of life. Tom & Jerry explains that arch enemies are not real foes but they complete one another, Tom never eats Jerry & Jerry never runs away... God would not be so important without Satan, security firms would never exist without perps & so on...

these aren`t old cartoons shows. they`re relatively new. old cartoons are the one from `70-`80`s (at least the ones i used to watch and like in the 90`s) the ones from hanna-barbera: spaceghost, the flintstones, the jetsons, yogi bear, jonny quest, caveman, quick draw mcgraw, wally gator, atom ant, birdman, richie rich, top cat etc etc etc.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1: Thunderbirds Are Go!"

Technically not a cartoon, but I was hooked on the "Thunderbirds" way back when I was a kid. An electronic marionette puppetry dubbed "Supermarionation" show from mid 1960's.
