Hi guys,

I have a NordVPN subscription (Don't ask how), but the vpn client sucks, it doesn't allow split tunneling, always fails to connect... So I setuped a nordvpn proxy on qBittorrent so I guess my traffic isn't encrypted. I think that my questions are pretty clear in the picture made in Paint .

Long story short : is a proxy secure enough in a kinda restrictive country? Could you please explain yourselves ?

Oh, and also, if you had a solution to tunnel only my qbittorent traffic to nordvpn so it doesn't slow my whole pc connection down, it would be very helpful cause I think that it would be really more secure.

Thank you very much

Hello, nordvpn client during downloading consumes around 25MB RAM and openvpn-nordvpn process 5% CPU

This is not a heavy application, however I think you are protected. If you want a lighter VPN application, go for paid services that support WIREGUARD additionally. The Wireguard protocol is the lightest and fastest.
