Jobik
Hi all ! I am using Firefox 72 x64 and want to prevent other people to run it. I tried to use the "master password feature" included in the app but it is not suitable. I would like to find a way so that the password would be asked just before opening Firefox. An extension maybe ? Password protect the executable ? ... ? Thank you

Such a super-stupid extension is only needed when people still live in DOS time.

Instead of password protecting Firefox, you can try the following.. Block firefox.exe using antivirus (Password protect antivirus settings) This way you will need to Allow firefox.exe in the antivirus settings (using the password) when you want to use it I can tell how-to if you are using Kaspersky. Detection
Group Policy... Hold down the Windows Key and press “R” to bring up the Run dialog box. Type “gpedit.msc“, then press “Enter“. The Group Policy Editor appears. Expand “User Configuration” > “Administrative Templates“, then select “System“. Open the policy “Don’t run specified Windows applications“. https://www.technipages.com/prevent-users-from-running-certain-programs
Carolus
You can also create a crypted file (with Veracrypt, for example); inside which you run Firefox portable edition. Of course, you need to mount and dismount your crypted file, but you have the security.
