Recommended Posts

Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use. Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download managers and accelerators Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during download process and reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve best acceleration performance.

Thanks to ederfernandez for the update.

Internet Download Manager Activator

Instructions:

1. Exit from IDM.

2. Place the dll file in IDM installation directory default:

x64bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager"

x32bit: "C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager"

3. Start IDM and done, it's activated.

Update Blocked Version:

Features:

Spoiler

General features:
- Activate idm by just adding a dll file without replacing, patching or modifying anything so the original files stay untouched.

- This activator is universal. Supports retail and trial versions with the hope it will stay fully working on future updates with all its features.

- It's safe for use, the 5mb of size and any detection is false positive because of packing.

Normal version features:
- Supports updates so you can update normally from idm as long as the dll file stays and not removed by the update installation process.

- Block home callouts of license checks including hardware identification while allowing update checks+downloading them.

NoUpdate version features:
- NoUpdate version blocks all callouts to internetdownloadmanager.com and it's related domains and IP address so you can make sure your privacy is safe. take note that updating from idm is not possible using the noupdate dll version. Also downloading anything like idm setup from their site through idm is not possible.

- dll file stays after updates installation process so there no need to add the dll again after each update.

Note:
These features may fully\semi work or may not work in future idm updates.

Not working? try this:

Spoiler

Download and install Visual C++ redistributable packages for VS 2015, 2017 and 2019,if you didn't already installed. might fix the loading of the dll.

Download:

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

And also x64 if you have win x64 bit:

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

After you are done installing give it another try.

I bet the developer is trying to overcome the dll @Actver. Please purchase the software if you like it!:duh:

That's why I combine patches from menglv, @Actver and @Ali.Dbg and block the telemetry IP's used for IDM to call home (and invalidating the license). When one fails, the others will remain standing.

And I guaranteed that Tonec is very sneaky with the "Fixed Bugs" description on the changelog, as it tries to overcome the patches used.

most likely that's the reason we keep seeing update after update containing the keyword "fixed bugs"

the only "bugs" mr Dave is trying to get rid of here are dem pesky activators, yet much to his dismay it always backfires :tehe:

Like I said, Tonec is very sneaky about "fixed bugs" thingy on their changelogs.

Do you have a link for the latest menglv fix? Thanks in advance.

The last known fix that I used is this one, provided by @wenger20. :

I used this patch which I used from IDM 6.32 b11 onwards, should be working for this version.

Otherwise, you can monitor this website (http://www.qiuquan.cc/download/idm.html) for latest menglv fix. (Update: the fix is most probably included and built-in on their repacked version of IDM, so I can't get it's standalone fixes.)

Anyone is having weird symbols instead of Spanish characters? (Words with accent mark and Ñ basically).

It's because they've modified the language files but saved them with an incorrect character encoding.

Try these corrected files (unzip the content in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager\Languages" and overwrite the original ones):

@Pej4o Thanks post removed. Clicking the Like/Thanks button is sufficient.

Like on most online forums the use of the 'Like / Thanks' button is preferred over simply posting 'Thanks' or something similar. Making an excessive amount of posts which add little to nothing to a topic might result in a post count reduction.
