YouTube video information now appears in the volume overlay on Windows 10 if you're using Google Chrome or a version of Microsoft Edge powered by Chromium (via MSPU). The volume overlay now includes the thumbnail, name, and channel name of the video that's currently playing in your browser. The feature comes as a result of Microsoft and Google developers working together according to a Microsoft developer on Reddit. It's another example of Microsoft's commitment to the Chromium project yielding features for both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. At the moment, the feature only works for YouTube videos. The volume overlay of Windows 10 doesn't receive updates often, so this is a welcome addition. Source
