The AchieVer
Microsoft Releases Microsoft Edge Dev Update for Windows 10 and Mac Microsoft has released a new Dev update for the early version of Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser, and this time the company targets both Windows 10 and Mac with this new build. The update brings Microsoft Edge Dev to version 76.0.182.6, and it includes several fixes, including for the bug breaking down the “Removal All” button for deleting cookies. Additionally, starting with this build, Microsoft Edge displays the number of additional tabs in the window title, and this is a change that is available for both Windows and Mac. There are several refinements specifically aimed at improving reliability and security. Microsoft says it updates Flash Player to version 32.0.0.207, and it fixes an issue causing the browser to sometime hang when it’s closed. Also, sending feedback from a webpage that crashed should no longer break down the browser after installing this update.Mac improvementsAs far as the Mac build of Microsoft Edge is concerned, the software giant fixed a problem causing the application to sometimes fail to launch. Also, the integration with the Touch Bar should now work correctly, as Microsoft says that in some cases, the video controls remained on the Touch bar even after leaving the page that hosted the video. You can find the full changelog in the box after the jump and head over to this page to download Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge browser is still in the works, and preview builds can be downloaded on Windows 10 and macOS. Microsoft says that later this year it would also release testing builds of the new browser for older versions of Windows, as the migration to Chromium makes it possible for the app to also run on Windows 7 and 8.1. A Linux version could also be in the works, albeit a confirmation of this project isn’t available just yet. Source
