Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Launch Date Leaks

Samsung is working around the clock to finalize its upcoming Galaxy Note 10 flagship, and now new information leaks on the release date of the device.

The South Korean company typically takes the wraps off Note models in the summer, and in the last few years, August has been the preferred month to introduce the phablet.

And this happens for a reason. By announcing the Note approximately a month before Apple unveils a new iPhone generation, Samsung can make sure its devices receives the attention it deserves, as well as some exclusive time on the market.

According to a new report, the same strategy is going to be used this year, as the Note 10 is once again projected to be unveiled in August.

ETNews, which has a mixed track on mobile scoops, claims the Note 10 could be unveiled on August 10, with sales like to begin later the same month. The Note 9 was launched on August 9, a day before the date speculated for this year’s model.

Two Note models coming this August

Samsung plans to unveil two different Note 10 models this year, namely a standard version and a Pro sibling that would come with upgraded specs. The standard Note 10 would feature a 6.28-inch display, whereas the Pro will be larger at 6.75 inches. Needless to say, the top-of-the-range configuration will come with exclusive hardware, like a quad-camera system, 1TB storage, and 12GB RAM.

The fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the screen, just like on the Galaxy S10, while the camera cutout will no longer be placed in the top right corner, but in the middle of the display. The Note 10 will no longer have a headphone jack, as Samsung wants to encourage customers to make the switch to wireless headphones, albeit USB-C support is very likely to be offered as well.

Leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Cases Confirm A Major Design Change

Alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 10 cases

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected this summer with some pretty huge design changes on the back, and two leaked cases suggest that all the information we have on this model is real.

In other words, yes, the Galaxy Note 10 will indeed come with a vertical camera layout on the back, and yes, the device will boast a triple-camera configuration.

The photos you see here and published by SlashLeaks likely show the standard Galaxy Note 10 with a 6.28-inch display. Samsung is also working on a second Galaxy Note 10 model expected to launch with the Pro tag and feature a larger 6.75-inch screen.

Galaxy Note 10 Pro could be upgraded to a quad-camera system with a 3D sensor and also feature a maximum of 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. No headphone jackOn the other hand, the leaked cases also confirm that the camera cutout on the front will no longer be placed in the top right corner like on the Galaxy S10 but in the middle of the screen. By the looks of things, the Note 10 will use a single selfie camera, which means that the camera hole won’t be too intrusive.

There’s no fingerprint sensor in sight, and this is an indication that all recent rumors claiming that Samsung would embed it into the glass are accurate. The Note 10 will follow in the footsteps of the Galaxy S10 and move the fingerprint sensor from the back to the screen, so the device will feature an ultrasonic reader.

These cases also come without a cutout for the headphone jack. Recent speculation indicated that Samsung would finally remove the 3.5mm audio connector on the Note 10, so users will have to stick with a USB Type-C connector or switch to wireless headphones. There’s also a chance Samsung offers an USB Type-C to headphone jack adapter in the box.
