Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro Is Ridiculously Sexy in Leaked Renders

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro renders

After getting a closer look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10thanks to a bunch of leaked renders, here comes the Pro version of the device, also revealed in a set of high-resolution photos.

The renders published by Pricebabaand @OnLeaks reveal the Galaxy Note 10 Pro in all its glory, with a signature Note look, but with further refinements that make the device look and probably feel more premium.

The punch-hole selfie camera is now placed in the center of the screen and not in the top right corner, as on the Galaxy S10, but this is something that Samsung will also use on the standard Note 10.

The Galaxy Note 10 Pro will feature a bigger 6.75-inch screen, while the device overall will measure 162.3 x 77.4 x 7.9mm.Four cameras on the ProThe camera configuration on the back is the most notable upgrade. Note 10 Pro will land with a total of four cameras like the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, so it’ll include a 12MP primary lens, 12MP telephoto, 16MP ultra-wide-angle, and a fourth ToF 3D depth sensor.

The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen, but contrary to recent speculation, physical keys are still there. There is no Bixby button though, and Samsung also removed the headphone jack, which isn’t something surprising given that a similar change also takes place on the smaller Note 10.

The Note 10 Pro will be powered by either a Snapdragon 855 or an Exynos 9820 paired with 12GB RAM. A 4,500 mAh battery is very likely to deal with the larger screen and offer around 1 day per charge.

The device is expected to be unveiled in August alongside the standard Note 10, while shipments should kick off in early September. Full pricing details aren’t available just yet, but don’t expect the Note 10 Pro to come cheap anyway.

Get an early look at the very rectangular Samsung Galaxy Note 10

We've got giant screens, no headphone jacks, and a centered front camera hole.

The Galaxy Note 10 isn't expected to hit the market until August, but we're already getting an early look at the design thanks to OnLeaks. These aren't official renders, but the images are instead created by OnLeaks based on CAD files. Previously OnLeaks has produced early renders of the Galaxy S9, OnePlus 7 Pro, and a ton of other phones, which have all turned out to be very accurate.

It looks like this year's version of the Galaxy Note is taking a very rectangular approach to phone design. First there's the display, which has sharper corners than previous versions, which used rounded display corners. The bottom and top edges of the phone look almost completely flat, while the longer sides curve around the phone making it easier to hold. It kind of looks like an old Nokia Lumia Phone.

The Galaxy S10 debuted Samsung's hole punch-style display, which, rather than a notch, cut a hole in the display (with lasers!) giving you a spot for the camera. On the Galaxy S10 this hole was in the upper-right corner; on the Galaxy Note 10 it's apparently dead center. The Galaxy S10+ featured two front-facing cameras, but here there is only one.

Google's Android rules require any display oddities (like a notch or this camera hole) to be fully surrounded by the status bar, giving apps a normal, rectangular area to work in. This design doesn't seem like it will solve the biggest problem with the S10 design, which is that the camera is placed so low in the display that the status bar will have to be larger than normal. Devices like the OnePlus 6T (from 2018!) took the best approach, which is just a camera notch small enough to fit inside a normal status bar area. While the Galaxy Note 10 display is big, apps won't be allowed to use anything next to or above that camera hole.

The back design changes a lot from the Galaxy S10 and Note 9, which both housed the rear cameras in huge, horizontal strips. This Note 10 render shows a vertical camera strip on the left side of the phone, with three holes next to it for sensors, the LED flash, and a time-of-flight camera for 3D sensing. The whole camera setup is flush with the glass body of the phone.

Along the bottom edge of the phone, we see a USB-C port, the obligatory S-Pen, a speaker, and no headphone jack. These renders agree with the previous Galaxy Note 10 rumor we posted from Android Police: Samsung is dropping the headphone jack. That rumor also claimed the Note 10 would skip out on physical buttons in favor of touch-powered buttons. This render shows button bumps, but whether they click or are just touch points is inconclusive.

Just like previous rumors, this report claims the Galaxy Note 10 would come in two sizes, with the new detail being that the bigger model is called the "Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro." This bigger model reportedly has a 6.75-inch display—a big increase over the 6.4-inch display in the Galaxy S10+—while the smaller model has a 6.3-inch panel and lacks the Pro's depth camera.
