Whether you have the Edge Insider Canary or Dev Channel, your browser will update automatically. However, if you need to be sure your Edge Insider build has the latest release, here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Go to your Edge Insider browser Settings

2. From the Edge Insider settings, choose “About Microsoft Edge.”

3. Microsoft Edge Insider builds update automatically. No update instructions needed. Once a new Edge Insider build is available, your browser will download and install the update automatically.

With all the Edge Insider news, it’s probably best to have the latest update installed. If you are looking to update to the latest Edge Insider build, whether it be the Canary Channel or Dev Channel, the Edge Insider browser should update automatically, but if you can check to see your Edge Insider build has the latest release.
