Although I haven't tried Bullguard products before I'm hearing a lot of praise from the TechSupportAlert guys so there must be something to it, and if it really does use parts from Agnitum and BitDefender then it's at least worth a shot.

The offer starts tomorrow, then I'll install it on a couple of my computers and try it and will tell you guys what I think.

Free 24/7 Live support in plain English i just love magic jack!! and free support!! :w00t: and special thank you to Lohengrin for donating time as testing out software and reviewing it IS WHAT the best of the best do again thank you!! :)

Thanks fl0ppyd1scours3 for your kind praise.

Regarding BullGuard, two things are notable about it:

1) the AV engine is licensed from BitDefender

2) the Firewall module is licensed from Agnitum (Outpost)

Those two facts alone make it worth trying at least.

I've installed it so far on 4 times, 2 PCs, 1 Laptop, and 1 VirtualMachine, all ranging from P4 up to Core2Duo.

The installation is pretty straightforward.

The interface is pretty neat, although the bright red theme can be a lil annoying at first, kinda reminds me of the old McAfee GUI. Anyways, the interface is pretty easy to understand, you don't need to be a pro to deal with it.

The default settings for the suite are good enough unless you're paranoid. The suite doesn't require too much user interactions to deal with threats, except for the firewall of course. And it's smart so if you're AFK and the suite needs your interaction it will display a pop up window and starts a countdown, if you don't choose by the end of the countdown it will choose the most secure action for you.

Right after the installation the suite detected a couple of viruses on my flash drive that got transferred from some old laptop of a client.

Anyways, it's early to give this suite a proper review but so far I'm impressed, I've never used it before and I didn't expect much initially but I keep reading a lot of positive feedback from European users since it's more know there.

It's light on the resources, pretty easy to use and offers decent protection from various threats, and not to mention it offers online backup storage (5gb with the 1 year subscription) for your important files which is a plus.

I hope that helps folks, enjoy.

Note: if you wanna make use of the offer you MUST visit the source of the article and download through the link in that site and make sure your browser can accept all cookies before you start the download or you'll end up with 60 days trial instead.
