hey guys,

i have been using convert x to dvd for encoding a movie or any other track i download in 5.1 channel,,and burn it on to a dvd in 5.1 channel surround,, so as i can later enjoy it on home theater on bigger screen ,,,,

and convert x to dvd does do a great job !!

but recently i downloaded some clips in 7.1 channel surround , but convert x to dvd only supports DOLBY 5.1 channel encoding ,

so i was wondering , is there any software that can burn or encode 7.1 channel sound to a dvd ?

also convert x to dvd does not encode DTS sound ,

so is there any burning /encoding software , capable of DTS encoding ? ( considering DTS sound is better than DOLBY sound because of higher bit rates !! )

any software for encoding 7.1 channel lossless DOLBY TRUE HD or DTS HD MASTER AUDIO ?

thanks.. :)

Nero should be capable of that, check here. If you are in to bloatware that is.

Powerdvd might be an alternative, i have no experience with it though.

Good luck!
