The AchieVer
10 best RAM hardware modules for gaming on Windows PC You can load apps in seconds and play games on your PC without experiencing a choppy performance by increasing the speed of your memory and installing more of it. So, upgrading your system’s RAM appears to be an easy cure for a slow computer. Ideally, 8GB of RAM (1.5 volt DDR3-1600 or 1.2 volts DDR-2133 memory sticks with CAS 15 timings) appears as a good start for most gamers. In most cases, DDR3 RAM will not be compatible with a motherboard that only supports DDR2. DDR4 is one of the best types of RAM since it provides the lowest operating voltage and highest transfer rate on the market right now. We have covered a list of 10 best RAM hardware modules for Windows 10 PC and gaming. neeraj
Just want to point out that Crucial doesn't have after sales support in many countries including mine, I am not a big fan of Kingston either. Kingston HyperX used to be a great lineup but recently they have not had one good RAM kit with tighter timings. I am running Dom Plat on my Ryzen build which i put up recently and could easily clock it to advertised max without issues. Corsair usually has good silicon in their kits. Slithgly off topic, but how much more economical is a ryzen build in india right now compared to say an i5 or i7 build without an X series intel proccy? The latest i5 'F' series processor from Intel come without an iGP and costs around 13K, you will need to get a decent cooler that will cost you anywhere around 2-3k. The processor is 6 core 6 Threads. Ryzen 5 2400G costs around 13K, With Vega 11 graphics , comes with a decent cooler, Processor is 4 cores, 8 threads. Then there is R7 1700 First gen thats around 16K without IGP but 8 cores 16 threads and bundles cooler. F series processors are the best value for money from Intel side but in my opinion there is always a better option on the AMD side. I would suggest investing in a good GPU, processor wise there wont be much difference if you use your pc for gaming and if you are into content creation stuff you might want to go for R7 with higher core count. Plus with AMD you get to upgrade processor in future without having to go for complete platform upgrade. With intel , if you want to upgrade your processor you will need to go for a new motherboard altogether.
Administrator DKT27 Posted April 6, 2019 Administrator Share Posted April 6, 2019 I want to mention one thing though, AMD motherboards are probably cheaper the last time I checked, so one has to take that into consideration if looking at price there. A whole lot cheaper in India. like 2-4x cheaper. I just stumbled across Asus ryzen laptop builds and man they are so much more cheaper and more powerful than an i5 build here. the i5 are going for around 85k while the ryzen counterparts are around 60-75k

I believe it also has to do with recent problems with Intel processor shortages, which seem to be effecting laptop processors more I think. They have charged customer for whatever they wanted. Not to forget the 'mafia like' practises which led to the downfall of Amd before they came back up with Ryzen. Amd counterparts will almost always give you 80% performance for 50% price. I have had 3 builds and one pre assembled PC till now. My very first pc was a pre assembled and had Intel P4. But then I permanently moved to Amd. I have used Athlon, FX and finally Ryzen R5 1600 on my current build paired with GTX1070. Am I happy with it? Yes! I love it
