The name of the next Windows 10 feature update known as build 1903 or 19H1 may be called the April 2019 Update based on the output of the Get-VMHostSupportedVersion PowerShell command.

Windows sleuth Tero Alhonen, who commonly seeks out Windows secrets before Microsoft announces them, used the Get-VMHostSupportedVersion on a recent version of the Windows 10 Insider Build 19H1 development branch and the command returned what could be the name of the next update.

This returned name is "Microsoft Windows 10 April 2019 Update/Server 1903" as shown below.

The PowerShell command Get-VMHostSupportedVersion, is used to list all the Hyper-V virtual machine configurations that are are supported on the host where the command is run. This command will list all of the previous versions of Windows 10, with the October 2018 Update build 1809 being the latest version.

In addition, the command will typically list soon-to-be released versions of the operating systems, which in this case is being called the April 2019 Update.

The upcoming build 1903 update will include new features such as the Windows Sandbox, improved Windows Security features such as Tamper Protection, the splitting of Search and Cortana, Reserved Storage, and much more.  As we get closer to the release of the 19H1, we will post an article describing all of the new features.
